The Future’s Bright at Codegate
Posted on 02 March 2010
It seems somewhat hard to believe that it has now been over fifteen years since the formation of Codegate. The business has grown steadily over the years and I am very proud that it is now firmly established as one of the leading players in the UK mobile software market.
As we move into this new decade we will continue to invest in the development of the business. We start 2010 with a strengthened Management Team, having recently appointed Graham Fenton as Managing Director. Graham has been in the auto ID and mobile computing industry for more years than he probably cares to remember and brings a huge wealth of knowledge to the business.
In addition to ensuring we achieve our aggressive growth plans for 2010, Graham’s remit is to analyse the benefits of adding more ‘shrink wrapped’ products to our portfolio and to consider the market requirements for Software as a Service (SaaS). In order to ensure we are adequately resourced, we have just appointed a new Project Administrator to support our planned growth, whilst further improving the interfacing of our development team with our clients.
As if all that wasn’t exciting enough, we have just launched our new website, which includes a host of new features including this blog, and its regular posts from myself on developments in the industry, reviews of interesting new technologies and on other topics that take my fancy.
